25,1 % of Lithuanians admitted buying alcohol after 10 p.m.

Since January 2009, Lithuanian law prohibits selling alcohol after 10 p.m. However, 25,1 % of Lithuanians admitted that they have bought alcohol after 10 p.m. (4,2% - bought often, 20,9% - sometimes).

Confidence of Lithuanian consumers is improving – latest RAIT Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) shows

Since 2009 research agency RAIT is running Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) surveys. Consumer Confidence Index is an indicator designed to measure consumer confidence, which is defined as the degree of optimism on the state of the economy and personal material (financial) situation that consumers are expressing through their activities of spending and consumption (past and future). 

Half of Lithuanian residents shop for clothes in markets

51% of Lithuanians bought clothes in markets during last 6 months.

 
The results are based on a nationally representative study of N=1041 15-74yo Lithuanian residents, conducted by RAIT on March 4th to 17th, 2010.
 
Respondents were asked where they bought clothing for themselves or family members during the last 6 months.
 

The survey showed that half (51%) of the Lithuania’s population bought upper clothes in markets. 40% said, that they bought upper clothing in shopping centres, over a third in second-hand shops (31%- 2010; 27% in 2007), 20 % in speciality shops and 17% in supermarkets.

Almost one in six Lithuanians plan to look for jobs abroad

The results are based on a nationally representative study of N=1041 15-74yo Lithuanian residents conducted by RAIT on March 4th to 17th, 2010.
 
Respondents were asked if they personally, or their family members, are planning to work/search for a job abroad within next 12 months.
